As Gangwer somehow escaped unscathed from many close calls, he watched as his foes dropped by the wayside. Even so, Keith Powell had one last shot at Gangwer nearly stealing the win away as the due crossed the finish line to complete the 50th circuit.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"SUPRS FLorida Speedweeks New Smyrna Speedway Post Race\" width=\"920\" height=\"518\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yTXyDA15toQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>One of Three Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gangwer was the last of three different people to lead the race, taking the lead from Steve Callahan with just four laps left of the 50 lap feature when Callahan lost traction on a late race restart. Early leader Nelson Rodrigues also fell victim to a bumpy track after leading for 28 laps.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/suprs.net\/site\/rulesleague-info\/gold-point-standings\/#FloridaSpeedweeksPoints\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TAKE a&nbsp;LOOK at&nbsp;SPEEDWEEKS POINTS<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Different Winner a Tradition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This was the fifth feature race at New Smyrna Speedway for SUPRS and Gangwer is now the fifth different driver to see New Smyrna Speedway Victory Lane. He is also the first to win a winged supermodified sim race at this track using the rFactor gaming platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Black Creek Next<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series to Black Creek Raceway for night two of the <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.me\/p4eozS-2K5\">2018 SUPRS Florida Speedweeks<\/a> for a 25 lap feature at the big 3\/4 mile.
