For the second year in a row, the Carrollton, OH racer powered his Icings on Top, C.P.R. Racing &#8220;Mayfield Missile&#8221; to a dominate win in a quick 45 lap feature that saw him beat Rob Warren to the line by over two seconds. Victory Lane art by BreezeGraphics.com<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Green to Checker in 12 Minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Powell took the lead from pole-sitter Nelson Rodrigues by the time the two had exited the second turn and never looked back. He then ran consistent laps to pull out to a large lead in a race that had no cautions and took just a little over 12 minutes to complete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Caution Free Night<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The feature wasn&#8217;t the only race that went caution free. In fact, from the drop of the green flag in the first 10 lap qualifying heat, through the two 12 semi-features and the end of the 45 lap feature, there were a total of 93 laps completed without a slow down. The only yellow any SUPRS racer saw all night was of that on the winning driver&#8217;s car.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1<sup>st<\/sup> to Finish &#8220;IrReGuLaR 45&#8221; Playlist on YouTube<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"1st to Finish Race Servers IrReGuLaR 45\" width=\"920\" height=\"518\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/videoseries?list=PLRSoeF2rgcWBBiYy713qGHwSmauW6LMNN\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wild Ride for Waldron<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the second week in a row, Gary Waldron had problems in his Kenowa Auto Supply car and was unable to finish the race. Waldron lost control in his ill-handling machine coming out of turn four on lap two and blasted the inside wall just before the flag stand crashing violently into the pit entrance.&nbsp; Fortunately the only casualty in the crash was one of his tires as that ripped from his ride and ended up on the front stretch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUPRS Celebrates Independence Day<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SUPRS celebrates Independence Day and America&#8217;s birthday on July 3 with the running of the oldest event on the SUPRS Gold Crest Non-Wing Supermodified Schedule, the Independence Day Twin 35s.<\/p>\n<p>This special night of supermodified sim racing culminates with not one, but TWO 35 lap features at Oswego Speedway. Official practice for the SUPRS &#8220;Independence Day Twin 35s&#8221; begins at 8:00pm. There is a Drivers meeting at 8:15pm. Racing is set to start at 8:30pm with the first of two 10 lap qualifying heat races. The green flag for the first 35 lap feature is schedule to fly at about 9:05pm.<\/p>\n<p>More details, including full format and schedule of events are available on the SUPRS <a href=\"https:\/\/suprs.net\/site\/rulesleague-info\/schedule\/\">Schedule<\/a>.
