Survival Mode Nets Kyle Clark Second Turkey Shoot Win in a Row
\n<\/em><\/h2>\n

November 13, 2018 – Memphis, TN…<\/strong><\/em>Kyle Clark dodged some big bullets and survived a caution strewn Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), 14th<\/sup> Annual Turkey Shoot at Memphis Motorsports Park, en-route to his second win in row at this race. Clark was able to steer through the excessive carnage and hang on to the lead after repeated restarts to take first place over his teammate Derrick Backus. Rob Warren was able to charge back to third after being involved in one of the cautions.<\/p>\n

Relieved Winner<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the first caution flew on lap three, it was a harbinger of things to come and Kyle Clark, while not in the lead for the first restart, had to endure the pressure of staying in first place for six of the eight cautions that followed.<\/p>\n

“I want the giblets this year,” were the first words out of his mouth in victory lane. For dodging multiple accidents, then holding off his hard charging teammate on all those restarts, he certainly deserves all the goodies and the gravy to boot.<\/p>\n

“That was one of the most intense races I’ve ever been in thankfully i wasn’t caught up in anything. at one point i slammed on the brakes when there was carnage in front of me. those cautions, oh my goodness I was going nuts,” he said.<\/p>\n

The driver from the Disturbed Motorsports team, said “I love this track,” and concluded, I want to thank  Burgers’ Smokehouse<\/a>. because I’m getting another Thanksgiving turkey and they are amazing!”<\/p>\n
