(Victory Lane Art by BreezeGraphics.com)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Track Record for Backus<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Derrick Backus, who was the track record holder going into the night, broke his own one lap record of 12.611. The Mexico, NY firefighter lowered the new standard to 12.426 seconds. Backus was also able to overcome his sixth place starting spot to put his very fast supermodified across the finish line in third place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ohh, Powell, Gangwer Win Preliminaries<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier in the evening Keith Powell and Bob Gangwer each won a 10 lap qualifying Heat Race. Dave Ohh passed Gangwer on the last lap of another  very quick six lap Fast Car Dash. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Watch the St. Patrick&#8217;s Day Grab O&#8217; the Green<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/videoseries?list=PLRSoeF2rgcWD0eZGAaQdJec5RGYZTG9le\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SpeedyMan Goes for Four in a Row<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s one race left in SUPRS &#8220;Winter Western Swing&#8221; and it&#8217;s at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, MO where Ohh will attempt to go for his fourth win in a row on  Tuesday March 19. In pre-race testing he&#8217;s quickly adapted to the treacherous banking and has already shown himself to be a threat to win in his first supermodified race there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2019 is the second year now that SUPRS has visited the high-banked 1\/2 mile and in last year&#8217;s innaugeral Show Me State 50, Nelson Rodrigues won a thrilling 50 lap feature that had just one caution and took only twelve minutes to complete. Considering how tough it is to keep the car under control over the rough pavement and high-speed banks, it was a surprise to everyone that the race nearly went caution free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sit Back and Enjoy the Thrills<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Fans and friends can sit back in the comfort of their own home and enjoy the high-banked, high-speed, nail biting thrills of the Show Me State 50 and live supermodified sim racing at I-70 Speedway.
