Racers Set Sights on Win at First Race of 2019 Supermodified Sim Racing Triple Crown<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

April 12, 2019 \u2013 Manchester, NH\u2026<\/strong><\/em>The Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), 9th<\/sup> Annual SUPRS All-Star Classic 200 is set for April 16, 2019 at Star Speedway in Epping, NH. The 2019 Triple Crown of Supermodified Sim Racing presented by Icings on Top<\/a> gets rolling at this challenging race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sim Race is Similar to Real Event<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The race is modeled after the real Star Classic held annually at the quarter-mile paved oval track built by Charlie Elliot <\/a>and now promoted by Bobby Webber, Jr.  The popular supermodified race features the International Supermodified Association<\/a> and has been a mainstay of the supermodified \u201cTriple Crown\u201d that also includes the Oswego Speedway<\/a> International Classic 200, and the Sandusky Speedway<\/a> Supermodified Nationals 100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SUPRS All-Star Classic 200 is not only an important stand-alone show, but it\u2019s also the first leg one of the 2019  Triple Crown of Supermodified Sim Racing <\/a>presented by Icings on Top<\/a>. Similar to the real supermodified Triple Crown, it is composed of three marquee events. Along with the All-Star Classic 200, the Season Summit 125 held at Madera Speedway<\/a>, and the non-wing supermodified Topless! 200 at Oswego Speedway make up this trifecta of sim racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In SUPRS 15 years, only two drivers have won all three events. Ray Sand, Jr. did it in 2011, and Rob Warren won the Triple Crown in 2017. Both drivers won all three races in the same season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Five All-Star Classic Winners<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The All-Star Classic 200 is one of the toughest SUPRS races to win, but five different drivers have managed to do it. Ray Sand, Jr. stands at the top of the win list with three and Steve Callahan has two to his credit. Keith Powell and Rob Warren each have a win and so does Derrick Backus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUPRS All-Star Classic 200 Details<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Practice for the SUPRS All-Star Classic 200 begins at 7:15pm. The Drivers Meeting takes place in TeamSpeak  following practice. Time Trials start at 8:00pm where the Elite 8 get locked into the feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A blind draw for the Elite 8 takes place prior to the running of the 20 lap B-Main at 8:25pm to set the rest of the 12 car starting field. The Green flag for the 9th<\/sup> Annual SUPRS All-Star Classic 200 drops after pre-race festivities and driver introduction at about 9:10pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
