Gary Waldron of Wyoming, MI led all 50 laps of the winged supermodified feature and Bob Gangwer of Goshen, IN, ironically, passed Waldron&#8217;s teammate, Carl Becker on lap 37 of the non-wing supermodified feature to take the closest feature finish in the history of the race. Gangwer beat Ray Sand, Jr. by a scant one-thousandth of a second at the line.<\/p>\n<p>Gangwer may have won the battle of the non-wing feature, but Sand, Jr. won the war by claiming the overall Indyana Supermod Challenge Championship with 254 points.
