December 18, 2019 – Goshen, IN…<\/strong><\/em>Here at the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), we think that spending time with family and friends is just a little more important than sim racing. For that reason, we’re starting our annual Christmas Break at the close of business on Wednesday December 18, 2019<\/strong><\/em>, until eight a.m. on Thursday January 2, 2020<\/strong><\/em>. We do this every year to give our members plenty of time to travel and relax with family and friend for Christmas and the New Year, without having to worry about missing one of our races.

Take a Break with SUPRS

So, while we put supermodified sim racing on hold for a couple of weeks, we also want to encourage all of our members, friends, fans, & followers to take this time to disconnect from racing on the web, take a break from social media, worry less about the problems of the world, and focus more on family, friends, and real life.

We’ll be taking a break from racing, social media, website, and SUPRS Weekly updates beginning at 5:00 pm ET on Wednesday December 18, 2019<\/strong>. All SUPRS Servers will be closed during this period for maintenance. Discord will still be available for chat.

Submitting Join Forms<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Sim racers that are interested in racing with SUPRS, are certainly welcome to submit a Membership Join Form<\/a> during our break. However, we want to remind everyone that Join Forms won\u2019t be processed until we are back in the office after the New Year on January 2, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This also means that Member\u2019s Only Access won\u2019t be available to new members until after January 2, 2020. We\u2019ll do our best to get any new members set up and ready to race the 16th<\/sup> Annual Crazy Canuck Snowball Derby, so if you DO submit a Join Form during break, please make sure that you have done everything on your part to be ready to race. General Emails and Press Releases<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We will continue to watch our email for time sensitive press releases from supermodified sanctions, tracks, and teams. If we see that there is an immediate release, we’ll get the info scheduled for posting as soon as we are back in the office at 8am January 2, 2020. All other email processing is on hold, and no replies should be expected until at least noon on January 2, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PR representatives should contact us via our Contact Page<\/a> if they have something very important that needs to go out immediately on SUPRS.net.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s Go Racing ‘Eh?<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

After Santa is gone, and Father Time rings in the New Year, it’s time to start thinking about going sim racing again. At 8:00pm on Sunday January 5, 2020 we’ll fire up all the SUPRS Servers and give everyone a chance to get tuned up for the 16th<\/sup> Annual Crazy Canuck Snowball Derby. After a few years at Mosport Speedway, we’ll be running at Delaware Speedway for the first time. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUPRS Members can plan on an extended Systems Check prior to the race beginning at 7:00pm, which is also when SUPRS Sync starts back up. Race times can be found on our Schedule Page<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
