With a great crop of rookies now eligible for their handicap, and a bunch of fast SUPRS veterans starting behind them, means the action will be non-stop from the drop of the first green flag.<\/p>\n<p>The 12 degrees of banking in the corners, and 360 yard straights have allowed the supermodifieds to get down into the 11.4 second range in pre-season testing. To put that into perspective, the real NASCAR type modifieds best recorded lap at SoBo is 13.849 \/ 103.979 mph on the 4\/10 mile asphalt oval.<\/p>\n<h4>Watch the Race Live<\/h4>\n<p>The SUPRS racers are set to &#8220;Battle at South Boston&#8221; on June 23, 2020. An extended practice session starts at 8:00pm. Racing gets underway at 9:05pm with the first of two schedule 10 lap qualifying Heat Races. The Battle at South Boston 45 lap non-wing supermodified sim racing feature is expected to take the green flag at around 9:30pm ET.<\/p>\n<p>Come cheer on your favorite SUPRS racers at the virtual version of this historic racetrack.
