August 3, 2020 – Goshen, IN…<\/em><\/strong>The Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), will pay their respect to an Oswego Speedway icon with the 16th running of “The Whistler” Pete Trenca Memorial on August 4, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUPRS Pays Respect to Legend<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The race pays tribute to Peter \u201cProgram\u201d Trenca, an all-around good guy and a fixture at the Oswego Speedway. Pete sold programs for over five decades before his passing in 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trenca was also a founding member of The Eagles Fan Club at Oswego Speedway and could always be counted on for lifting the spirits of every fan that passed through the gates of \u201cThe Home of the Supermodifieds\u201d with his distinctive whistle and cheerful welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark August 4, 2020 on your calendar and get ready to join SUPRS as they honor Peter \u201cProgram\u201d Trenca. The drivers hit the track at 8:30pm for Hot Laps and then take part in the mandatory Drivers Meeting at 8:45pm. Racing starts at 9:05pm with two 10 lap Heat Races followed by the 60 lap Feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
