Enterprise, FL – February 25, 2014…\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Night two of the 2014 Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series Florida Speedweeks took place at Black Creek Raceway and Bob Gangwer dominated the race to take the win over Ray Sand, Jr. and Rob Warren by nearly one second.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Gangwer started from the outside of row one, took the lead in turn one and never looked back leading all 25 laps at the fast 3\/4 mile tri-oval.<\/p>\n

Bob Gangwer took the Wing Side Up roadster to victory at Black Creek Raceway during SUPRS Florida Speedweeks.<\/p><\/div>\n

“I figured if I had any shot at a win during Speedweeks this would probably be it,” claimed Gangwer. “I have to give it to Kevin, (Timmins), he gave me plenty of room going into one at the start and I was able to get into the lead out of turn two.”<\/p>\n

“This was a good night, the car was good, I was able to be consistent hit my marks on good track in a good race. I hope everyone else had as much fun as me,” said Gangwer.<\/p>\n

Ray Sand, Jr. admitted after the race that he had struggled all night long saying, “I just never got into a rhythm all night long, Bobby was the man tonight for sure. I know Rob was hooked up and I was in defense mode holding him off at the end.”<\/p>\n

“Starting that far back there was some pleasent shuffling in front of me with guys going three wide in turn one early,” explained third place finisher Rob Warren. “I got under them all and got to third and I could get to Ray but I really couldn’t get the power down enough to give him a love tap anymore than once or twice to let him know I was there.”<\/p>\n

A very frustrated Steve Callahan came home fourth after setting fast time earlier in the night. He said, “I couldn’t make it through turn one without getting damage, it was a real struggle so we’ll try again tomorrow.”<\/p>\n

Kyle Perry of Fulton, NY made his return to the track and finished the race in seventh after having technical issues the night before.<\/p>\n
