{"id":2970,"date":"2014-03-05T08:58:14","date_gmt":"2014-03-05T13:58:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/suprs.net\/site\/?p=2970"},"modified":"2025-06-23T16:46:15","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T20:46:15","slug":"suprs-copper-world-classic-ix-postponed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/suprs.net\/site\/suprs-copper-world-classic-ix-postponed\/","title":{"rendered":"SUPRS Copper World Classic IX Postponed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Phoenix, AZ &#8211; March 4, 2014&#8230;.<\/strong><\/em> Due to unforeseen circumstances the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series has had to postpone the ninth running of the SUPRS Copper World Classic.<\/p>\n<p>Server and or possibly modem and ISP gremlins reared their ugly head once again and league officials determined that it was in the best interest of the league and the members to put this much anticipated event off until the technical issues could be solved.<\/p>\n<p>The race has been moved to March 25, 2014 and will still feature three divisions of racing including winged, non-winged and pavement modifieds. This race will now take place a week after the St. Patrick&#8217;s Day Grab O&#8217; the Green at Dover Downs International Speedway giving the racers two straight weeks of being able to compete on one mile speedways.<\/p>\n<p>Members are encouraged to pay close attention to the schedule page for full details including times and formats.<\/p>\n<p>The next race for the SUPRS competitors will be night one of the 9th Annual Keystone Nationals.
