OSWEGO, NY (May 1, 2014) \u2013<\/strong><\/em> Oswego Speedway is proud to present its race fans with an opportunity to win a ride in the Canale Insurance 2-Seat Supermodified, while supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Raffle tickets will be available on Saturday night at the Eagles Fan Club booth and in the novelty stand as a part of the Speedway\u2019s 64th<\/sup>\u00a0annual opening night celebration, with the chance to win a ride in the popular Oswego Speedway Canale Insurance 2-Seat Supermodified.<\/p>\n

Raffle tickets will be available for $1 per ticket or 15 tickets for $10.\u00a0\u00a0The winning ticket will be drawn during the Speedway\u2019s 53rd<\/sup>\u00a0annual Novelis Supermodified Kick-Off on\u00a0Saturday, May 10<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0Winner need not be present.<\/p>\n

The winning ticket on\u00a0May 10<\/span>\u00a0will not only win a ride in the Canale Insurance 2-Seat Supermodified, but also two general admission race tickets.<\/p>\n

All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.<\/p>\n

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide).<\/p>\n

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world\u2019s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis.\u00a0\u00a0The Foundation funds more CF research than any other organization, and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support.<\/p>\n

Gater Racing News will present the 64th<\/sup>\u00a0annual opening day celebration at the Speedway featuring the first round of the Shea Concrete \u2018Steel Palace\u2019 ISMA Super Series, and the Road to the Championship lid lifter for the Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super Series on\u00a0Saturday, May 3<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The ultra-fast winged ISMA Supermodifieds will take on the Oswego speed plant for 56-laps in the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0annual \u2018Irish\u2019 Jack Murphy Memorial, while the SBS will contend in their first 35-lap main of the year.<\/p>\n

Grandstand gates will open at\u00a03 p.m.<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0May 3<\/span>\u00a0with time trials set to start at\u00a05 p.m.<\/span>\u00a0followed by racing at\u00a06:30 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

To purchase tickets for Oswego Speedway\u2019s 64th annual opening night call the Speedway box office at (315) 342-0646.\u00a0\u00a0General admission seating is available for $25, with reserved seating on sale at $30, and VIP tower seating with all you can eat food and beverage for $90.<\/p>\n

Once again in 2014, kids 16 & under will be admitted free of charge with a paid adult and active military are welcome to enjoy a free night of racing with I.D.<\/p>\n

A rain date for Saturday\u2019s event has been posted for\u00a0Sunday, May 4<\/span>.<\/p>\n
