March 16, 2021 – West Allis, WI…<\/strong><\/em>Union, Connecticut’s Dave Ohh held off a hard charging Brad Keysor to win his third straight Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), St. Patrick’s Day Grab O’ the Green supermodified sim race Tuesday at The Milwaukee Mile. In a race that had only two cautions and multiple packs of cars jostling for for position, Zach Sears turned in the fastest lap of the race, Keith Powell had the top speed of the event, and all of the starters finished in the first ever visit by SUPRS to the famed West Allis speedplant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keysor ended up in second right on Ohh’s heels at the line, with Sears close in tow for a podium. Rookie Ryan Cloonan had a good run for fourth while Rob Warren came out on top of a race-long battle with Nelson Rodrigues for fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s great to win at a track with so much history,” Ohh said. “It was a good race and at the end it was pretty tight.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other Race Notes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dave Ohh established a track record for the winged supermodifieds by stopping the clocks with a blazingly fast lap of 22.577 seconds. In heat race action, Bobby Hayduk and Ohh took wins in the eight lap contests with Ohh barely holding off Zach Sears for the win as a torrid battle raged on behind them for third. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
