February 1, 2022 – Enterprise, FL…<\/strong><\/em>Dave Ohh wheeled his TMS Wolfpack “Black Beauty” # 11 supermodified to victory at Black Creek Raceway for the third year in a row and claimed his second straight Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), 2022 Florida Speedweeks win on Tuesday in Enterprise. Three-time Black Creek winner Bob Gangwer was second for the second straight year, and 2-time Black Creek Raceway winner and “Rocket” Rob Warren was third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winning Never Gets Old for Ohh<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ohh, who is quickly approaching Rob Warren as SUPRS all-time feature winner, never gets tired of parking it in victory lane.
It’s always a good feeling when you’re able to pull off a victory, especially with the group of guys we’ve got here,” he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ohh took the lead on lap four of the 25 lap feature after quickly sizing up pole sitter Bob Gangwer and determined that he had to run a different line. “That start was dead even, and Bob and I drag raced into turn one and he got the advantage,” Ohh explained. “I knew the only way I was going to get around him was to short the straights, so I came off really shallow and got a run on him down into one.” From there, Ohh set sail and steadily pulled away from Gangwer. “It’s a little easier hitting your marks on a big track out front, I like the clean air,” said Ohh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Thanks to The Mod Squad<\/a> and HeatFinder.net<\/a>,” he said. “It was a quick race, that seems to be the theme so far this week.” When asked what he thought about his chances to make it three in a row by winning at Dodge Raceway Stadium on Wednesday, Ohh shared this thought, “It’s tight, fast, it doesn’t matter where you start, it’s always a tricky place to race and hard to win there.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Battle Behind<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While Dave Ohh checked out, and Bob Gangwer tried to keep him in sight, a major battle was fought behind them for most of the race. Rob Warren, Ryan Cloonan, Anthony Corsoniti and Keith Powell fought tooth and nail with each other with Warren and Cloonan eventually able to break away leaving the other duo to contend with Brad Keysor who had joined the fray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloonan was sitting in third place but caught the front stretch wall allowing Warren to scoot by and they stayed that way to the end with Warren able to build a two second gap to the Simibility sponsored driver behind him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further back Keysor took advantage of a jingle with Keith Powell, and moved to fifth, two seconds in arrears to Cloonan. Corsoniti tried to catch Keysor, but ended up having to hold off last year’s third place finisher Gary Waldron as Powell dropped like a rock to eighth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
