February 22, 2022 – Lee, NH..<\/strong><\/em>Numerology on a day like 2\/22\/22 may mean something to some people, but to Dave Ohh of Union, CT, it just means another day. and another Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), feature win. This time the BMK Logistics Presidents’ Day Special at Lee USA Speedway<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dave Ohh won the BMK Logistics Presidents’ Day Special at Lee USA Speedway and is now tied with Rob Warren for most wins in that race. It was Ohh’s third straight win in the race and he is now tied with Rob Warren for the most career Presidents’ Day Special wins. Brad Keysor looked like he may have had a little something for the winner with 10 laps to go, but faded to almost a second behind Ohh at the finish with Ryan Cloonan in third a lap down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other Race Notes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The race was slowed by just three cautions for a total of 11 laps, but all three slow downs were caused by cars wrecking. Those wrecks thinned the field to six finishers out of the 12 starters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the evening, Dave Ohh set fast time in the uniquely formatted race that took the fastest eight drivers from the heats and locked them into the top four rows of the feature. Ohh’s lap time of 11.203 was a blistering fast spin around the paved oval in Lee, NH, and although under the existing track record set in 2019 by Brad Keysor, doesn’t qualify as a new track record due to the format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ohh won the heat race that he set quick time in that also went green to checkers in just a tick under to minutes. Keysor won the other Qualifying Heat Race. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keystone Nationals Next<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The SUPRS racers begin moving westward and toward the end of the season in April next week heading into Pennsylvania for three-nights and the 17th<\/sup> Annual Keystone Nationals. This popular multi-race swing kicks off on Tuesday March 1 with at 50 lap feature at RT 93 Raceway, a 25 lap spectacle on the mile at Nazareth Speedway on Wednesday and comes to a close with the prestigious 18th<\/sup> Annual Randy Witkum Memorial 125 at Jennerstown Speedway on Thursday March 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
