J<\/em><\/strong>uly 19, 2022 \u2013 Oswego, NY\u2026<\/strong><\/em>Dave “SpeedyMan” Ohh has joined Rob Warren and Ray Sand, Jr. as just the third driver in the 18 year history of the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), to have amassed 100 feature wins. Ironically, Ohh’s 100th SUPRS victory came at the 1st<\/sup> to Finish Race Servers “IrReGuLaR 45” at Oswego Speedway, a race that Warren sponsors, yet has never won himself. It was Ohh’s fourth straight victory in the popular race that pays homage to the glory days of Oswego Speedway<\/a> with qualifying heats, semi-features and feature event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ohh’s first SUPRS win came at the Gibson Fast 50 on January 8, 2019. He went on to win eight more races in his first season of SUPRS competition. Since then, Ohh has broken, or tied, nearly every other SUPRS record in the books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wins the Hard Way<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After crashing out of his qualifying heat race, Ohh had to work his way through the pack from his tenth place starting position. The Union, CT driver extraordinaire sliced his way through the field using the outside groove to get to the front, then passed Brad Keysor on lap 16 when Keysor became mired behind a lapped car. Ohh held off Keysor for three caution periods and won by nearly three-quarters of a second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keysor held on for second place while Zach Sears moved from fifth to third at the finish. Sears and Keysor won their heat races. Keysor also won a semi-feature as did Bob Gangwer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUPRS Summer Break Next<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SUPRS has just a few races left, but will be taking a brief respite from supermodified sim racing. SUPRS annual Summer Break from July 20-August 1 gives members, and their families, time to travel to and from the Hy-Miler Supermodified Nationals at Sandusky Speedway<\/a> and it gives the admins a breather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll be taking a break from racing, social media, website, and SUPRS Weekly updates beginning 5pm July 20, 2022. All SUPRS Servers will be closed during this period for maintenance. Discord will still be available for chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership Join Form processing and general replies to emails will be put on hold until we are back in the office after Summer Break on Monday August 1, 2022 at 8:00am.
The SUPRS Race Servers will be up and running prior to the start of the 15th<\/sup> Annual Mr. Online Supermodified\u00a0 on August 2, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
