October 3, 2022 – Goshen, IN…<\/strong><\/em>As sure as frost on the pumpkin, crisp morning air, and farmers harvesting crops signal that the fall season is in full swing, the sim racers of the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), know it means their season is ready to kick off with the 19th<\/sup> Annual Harvest of Speed October 4 at LaPorte Speedway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kicking off the season at LaPorte is a tradition that dates back to the very first SUPRS sanctioned show in October of 2004. At that time SUPRS used the \u201cPSTM\u201d modification for NASCAR Heat by Mike Jackson. Today, the sanction uses it\u2019s own mod but keeps the tradition of alive at LaPorte as a nod to their own rich history of NASCAR Heat format racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Showcasing a full night of Time Trials, Fast Car Dash, Heat Races and culminating in the thrilling 75 lap feature, this race is also part of the 2022-23 Indyana Supermod Challenge Series which is a five-race \u201cmini-championship\u201d throughout the Hoosier State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
