October 19, 2022 – Concord, NC…<\/strong><\/em>For the third time in three years, Dave Ohh swept night two of The Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), North Carolina swing recording wins at Southern National Raceway Park and Concord Motorsports Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With his sweep of night two, he’s moved into second place on the all-time NC Swing Race win list, (for current drivers) and now has eight wins total, (not counting The Hickory Hustle). It was also the seventh time that the second night of the Swing was a sweep by one driver, with Rob Warren the only other driver in SUPRS history to do so in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the evening, Ohh set new track records at both Southern National (10.719), and Concord (11.881). Brad Keysor finished second in both races with Bob Gangwer (Southern National), and Ryan Cloonan (Concord) splitting the night for the final step on the podium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hustle Time<\/h3>\n

The qualifying races are now complete and now the invitations to the top eight, (plus two alternates), in the North Carolina Swing points are going to be sent. Drivers that get the invite have a shot at becoming the 2022 North Carolina Swing Champion.<\/p>\n

The invitation list to The Hickory Hustle has plenty of familiar names and includes four former NC Swing Champions, three of which are also a SUPRS Champion, two others have been the Icings on Top Rookie of the Year. Listed below are the drivers that have received an invitation to The Hickory Hustle at Hickory Motor Speedway. They are listed in order of points from the qualifying races:<\/p>\n

    In addition to the invited drivers above, two alternates have been selected. Dick Schuler and 2008 North Carolina Swing Champion, Gary Waldron will be ready to go if any of the eight invited drivers fail to show, miss the drivers meeting, or are otherwise unable to make the grid.<\/p>\n

    After practice, which goes from 8:00-8:20pm, the invited drivers will draw for their starting position in the 75 lap feature. The Hickory Hustle is slated to start at 8:35pm.<\/p>\n
