December 3, 2022 – Goshen, IN…<\/strong><\/em>Love at first sight or a nightmare of a date? That’s the chance the drivers take on SUPRS Empire State Super Series “Blind Date Night” to kick off the regional tour for the 2022-23 season on December 6, 2022. One thing’s for sure, not knowing until the night of the race, and after practice, which of three potential tracks they will compete on makes all the SUPRS suitors a little nervous.<\/p>\n\n\n

When one of those three fictional, New York, NASCAR Heat tracks is drawn from a hat after practice, it\u2019s likely that most, and potentially none, of the current SUPRS members will have ever competed on it before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Empire State Super Series Regional Tour<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Empire State Super Series, (ESS), is composed of anywhere between three to six races and run over the course of one year and two SUPRS Gold Crest Seasons. The tour includes only those tracks that are in the state of New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SUPRS Blind Date Night has been a tradition since the very start of the sanction when it ran four races in one night on New Year\u2019s Eve known as the New Year\u2019s Eve 4-n-1 Bash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the SUPRS Members decided they\u2019d rather spend time with their family and friends on NYE, the tradition of drawing one out of a potential three tracks continued on for the ESS Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keysor Defending ESS Champ<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Last year Brad Keysor won his third straight Empire State Super Series Championship, tying Rob Warren for third on the all-time ESS Championship list. This year he will attempt to get the new ESS rolling in the right direction at SUPRS Blind Date Night. Chalking up points early could help him move up one rung on the all-time ESS ladder and would go a long way towards propelling him to his fourth championship of the regional tour. That accomplishment would move the BMK Logistics<\/a> sponsored racer into second with four ESS Championships, one behind Ray Sand, Jr. who has five in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A SUPRS\/HeatFinder Open Show<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Like all NASCAR Heat races on the SUPRS schedule this year, the ESS Blind Date Night is part of the SUPRS\/HeatFinder.net<\/a> open show.<\/p>\n

This race is open to any driver that has registered<\/a> to race at SUPRS.net, has the SUPRS W v6 modification, and all three tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
