November 29, 2022 \u2013 Salem, IN\u2026<\/em><\/strong> Brad Keysor and Ryan Cloonan, were the winners of the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), 19th<\/sup> Annual Wing Side Up Twin 25s held at The Salem Speedway Tuesday night. Dave Ohh was the only other driver on the podium all night long, finishing second in both races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keysor shattered the seven year old track record lowering the 13.817 mark set by Myles Maxon in 2015, to a blazing 11.461. He then led eight of the 25 laps in the wing feature, including the last two after a daring pass to take the lead back from Dave Ohh. The first race featured five lead changes among four drivers, and two cautions for seven laps. Keysor now has four winged supermodified wins at the The Wing Side Up Twin 25s, although this was his first ever at The Salem Speedway. Dave Ohh received the SUPRS Charger bonus for the first feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the non-wing supermodified feature, it took two tries to get the race started before Ryan Cloonan led 18 of the 25 laps in the last race of the night. Two cautions slowed the race for 10 laps with seven of the 11 starters finishing the race. It was Cloonan’s second straight win in the non-wing portion of the Wing Side Up Twin 25s and like Keysor, his first ever at Salem. Bob Hayduk had a fantastic run from eleventh on the grid to fourth at the finish to grab the SUPRS Charger bonus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUPRS action continues next week with the first race of the 2022-23 Empire State Super Series Regional Tour and Blind Date Night. The racers won\u2019t know until after hot laps which of three possible tracks they\u2019ll compete on with their NASCAR Heat winged supermodifieds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hot Laps get under way at 8:00pm with racing slated to start at 8:30pm for this SUPRS\/HeatFinder.net<\/a> Supermodified Challenge race. More details can be found on the SUPRS Schedule<\/a> page.
