March 18, 2023 – Goshen, IN…<\/em><\/strong>The Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), 19th<\/sup> Annual Indyana Supermod Challenge on March 21, 2023 is a double header of supermodified sim racing featuring both types of \u201cThe Ultimate Short Track Race Car\u201d at \u201cAmerica\u2019s Great Race Place\u201d-Indianapolis Raceway Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Non-Wing and Wing supermodifieds in two separate shows with inverted feature grids, and loads of action await the drivers that take on the high speed challenges at the virtual version of the oval track at the facility in Claremont, IN. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The double-header at IRP is also the conclusion of the season-long Indyana Supermod Challenge Regional Tour Championship. The regional series of races throughout Indiana also included the SUPRS championship season opener at LaPorte Speedway<\/a> this past October, and a wing\/non-wing double-header at The Salem Speedway<\/a> in November of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first three races of the 2022-23 Indyana Supermod Challenge, there have been three different winners. Dave Ohh won the Harvest of Speed at LaPorte Speedway, then Brad Keysor and Ryan Cloonan split the Wing Side Up Twin 25s double-header at The Salem Speedway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ohh is the defending Indyana Supermod Challenge Regional Tour Champion and is currently leading the latest edition by 12 points over Keysor who won the tour in 2021. Both drivers have three wins apiece at IRP and are expected to be the main contenders for a win again this year, as well as the overall regional tour championship as Cloonan sits 36 points back in third.
