October 1, 2023 – Goshen, IN…<\/strong><\/em>The run for the historic Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), Gold Crest Wing Supermodified Sim Racing Championship XX kicks off with the 20th<\/sup> Annual Harvest<\/b> of<\/b> Speed<\/i><\/b> at the always challenging LaPorte Speedway. This track was the first ever that SUPRS ran as a supermodified sim racing sanction, and has been on the schedule with at least one race every season since the first in 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Showcasing a full night of Time Trials, the BMK Logistics Fast Car Dash, Heat Races and culminating in the thrilling 75 lap feature. This race is part of the 2023-24 Indyana Supermod Challenge Series, a seven race \u201cmini-championship\u201d throughout the Hoosier State, and will be run using the legendary NASCAR Heat sim racing game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ohh Favored to Win<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Defending series champion, and five-time Harvest of Speed winner, Dave Ohh enters the new season, having stated that he will not try to contend for the overall championship. But that doesn’t mean he’s any less favored to continue his trek into the SUPRS record books as a Harvest of Speed winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year the TMS<\/a> Wolfpack was one of three leaders that included 2010 winner Gary Waldron. Ohh led the most laps to claim his third straight win in the SUPRS season lid lifter which tied him with Ray Sand, Jr. at three. He also matched Myles Maxon as the only driver in SUPRS history to win three Harvest of Speed features in a row. He only needs one more to tie Maxon with the most Harvest wins all-time at four. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
