February 2, 2012 – Derry, ME…<\/em><\/strong>Steve Callahan cruised to victory at the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), 8th Annual Ground Hog Day Derby over John Davidson and Rob Warren. After Punxsawtawny Phil saw his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter, time trials were scrapped and the feature grid was as random as Phil’s weather prediction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Achzet got the SUPRSCharger award and Joey Callahan was the only driver of the nine starters not to finish the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
