ECTRadio.net Partners with SUPRS for Independence Day Twin 40s
GOSHEN, IN – July 5, 2006…The Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), non-wing supermodifieds are ready to return to action tonight at Jennerstown Speedway and fans will be able to hear the race action live on ECTRadio.net.
The event being called “The Independence Day Twin 40s” is sure to be one heck of a show. Deryl Morley, a real life announcer at Sugarhill Speedway in New Hampshire and one of the best in the business, will call the action.

Drivers expected to compete in this week’s action include 2005 Non-Wing
Champion Jim Crannell from Oswego, New York and two-time SUPRS Wing Champion
John Davidson of San Diego, California.
Racing with Davidson during the ECTRadio.net broadcast will be a few guys who know exactly what it’s all about to be “Hangin’ to the Left Supermodified Style”; real supermodified stars “The Jersey Jet” Joey Payne of Fairlawn, New Jersey and “Rapid” Randy Ritskes from Oswego, New York. Oswego Speedway and ISMA champion, “The Young One”, Doug Heveron from Jensen Beach, Florida will compete as will his son Kris and Doug’s brother Tom.
Ohio will be well represented with “Crazy” Chris Meyers (Amherst), Jim
Davidson (Elyria), “Steady” Steve Callahan (Cuyahoga Falls), Dave Soja
(Amherst), and “Nicastrophe” Chris Nicastro (Cleveland) looking for a win.
“GDUB” Gary Waldron (Wyoming, Michigan), Mark “The Flyin’ Italian” Pasquale
(Jamison, PA) and Washington hotshots Chuck Armstrong and Curt Kern are also
expected to join in the fray.
New York veterans Buddy Cottom, Myles Maxon, Josh Crannell, “The Dominator” Dom Gioia, and the “Flying Brigandi Brothers” Dave and Dan. are sure to be in contention for the win while ISMA Official Bobby Rodier (Epping, New Hampshire), Chaz Cochran (Battle Creek, Michigan) and 350 supermodified driver Matt Riley (Bedford, New Hampshire) are set to make their SUPRS sim racing debuts.
The cars take to the track for Hot Laps at 7:30 pm with the Drivers Meeting
following closely behind at 8:45pm. Heat races are scheduled to go green at
9:00 pm.
Pre-race coverage is expected to kick off between 8:30 pm and 8:45
pm with live interviews and insight into what to expect for this very
special event.
