January 28, 2022 – Goshen, IN…Five fantastic, fun and fast nights in the virtual Florida sun await the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), racers at the 2022 SUPRS Florida Speedweeks begining January 31, 2022.
Open wheel action at five different tracks ranging in size from a ¼ mile stadium to big ¾ mile ovals make for a challenging supermodified sim racing swing throug the Sunshine State.
Speedweeks Format Change
This year the schedule and line up of familiar tracks remains the same as 2021, but the format will change as SUPRS pays homage to the 1994 International Supermodified Association’s “Winter Nationals” held at Volusia County Speedway. A mixture of time trials, points won handicapping, blind draws and pill draws will shake up the feature race inversion and will certainly keep the competition at a fever pitch.
Speedweeks Nightly Schedule
On track action gets underway all five nights when the virtual supermodifieds hit the track for a quick 15 minute Hot Lap session. The drivers’ meeting and qualifying draw takes place at 8:15pm followed by time trials every night at 8:30pm. It will be a fast show each evening with the main event scheduled to take the green flag at 9:05pm.
Fans, friends, and family can enjoy all five nights of SUPRS Florida Speedweeks with SUPRS LIVE! @ 9.
Featuring Live Streaming Video, up to the second Timing and Scoring, accurate Track Telemetry, and insightful, fun Announcing, SUPRS LIVE! is the perfect place to watch all the action while cheering on your favorite SUPRS racers.
