First of all-you should ALL be backing up your files regularly. For rFactor and rF2 this is especially true with your entire "UserData" folder that contains your PLR file, (which has all of your name, game graphics, steering, etc settings), and your setup folder. For NASCAR Heat, backup your entire Hasbro Interactive folder, or at the very least, your SUPRS V6, NHSM, SUPRS NW2, and the "RUN" folders. This alone will make moving to a new PC one heck of a lot easier because you can just plug your external drive, (whether it's an USB plug n play device or a 6 Terabit WSD monster), move the files and go about your day.
Beyond your game files, there are probably a lot of other files that you'd rather just move instead of downloading them again. Here's a couple of thoughts on programs that can do that for your from the Bob Rankin site.
