I've been building systems for over 20 years and have always been an AMD guy. I love my AMD systems, but I just want to be a part of the elite Intel crew. i have taken the plunge and I'm building an Intel based system.

I'm excited to say the least! This is new territory for me but I expect a lot from what I have read and others experiences. So here is the breakdown of my new components.

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K 3.3 GHz Six Core (BX80648I75820K) Processor, 6 killer cores of Awesomeness!

Motherboard: MSI X99S SLI Krait Edition.

  • Supports New Intel® Core™ i7 processors Extreme Edition in LGA 2011-3 socket
  • Supports Quad Channel DDR4-3333(OC) Memory
  • Turbo M.2: delivering next generation M.2 Gen3 x4 performance with transfer speeds up to 32 Gb/s
  • SATA Express + USB 3.0 + SATA 6Gb/s
  • Multi-GPU: NVIDIA Quad SLI & AMD Quad CrossFire Support
  • OC Engine: For More Flexible BCLK Adjustments
  • 12 Phase DigitALL Power Design
  • Guard-Pro: Improved Protection and Power Efficiency
  • Military Class 4: Top Quality & Stability
  • Audio Boost: Reward Your Ears with True Quality
  • Intel® Gigabit LAN: Always connected with Intel® Gigabit LAN networking
  • OC Genie 4: Overclock in 1 Second
  • Click BIOS 4: Easily Fine-tune Your System
  • 12Phase Digi Power
  • Black & White Edition

Memory:

HyperX FURY 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200)

  • Automatic overclocking — up to 2666MHz
  • Low power consumption at 1.2V
  • Optimized for X99 series motherboards
  • Stylish low profile heat spreader in black

Heatsink: Hydro Series H100i v2

Well I'm in for a ride and can't wait to get my hands on this new equipment. I will be looking to offload my old equipment to get back some cash from this investment.

Selling:

AMD 8350fx 8 core 4.2 ghz CPU

MSI 990fxa gd 80 ver2 Motherboard.

Kingston hyper x ddr 3 1600 xmp memory 16 GB

Phanteks twin tower CPU cooler with triple 140 mm fans. All Aluminum tower and pipes, copper sink.

Apevia Warlock 750 watt PSU

I have all the boxes for all the components and have been used in a smoke free home. I've never been one to OC my system, as this system already kicks some serious tail. Email me if you are interested brianpotvin1974@gmail.com
