Here’s a list of some of the programs that some of us regularly use to help keep things in good shape for race night. (Note: SUPRS is not responsible for any damage caused to your computer by visiting these links or downloading any software. We offer these links as a service to help only).

1. http://www.pcpitstop.com- This site is one of the recognized leaders for testing your pc. Most of the tests are still free and it will give you a good idea of some easy fixes.

2. http://www.blackviper.com - One of my all time favorite websites. Easy to read, pretty much self explanatory. Don’t be afraid to shut down some of those processes, you’ll be surprised at how much faster you can boot up and keep running fast!

3.http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ref.....rer/srtest - Sometimes you just don’t have the right equipment to run. This site will help you figure out how your computer ranks and will tell you which games you can run with success.

4. http://www.iobit.com/- Home of one of the highest rated Windows optimizers out there. ASC is easy to use and can help you tune up your pc pretty quickly on race night. Only thing I need to add here is that it is somewhat bloaty and like most 'freemium' programs, it likes to remind you there is a paid version.

5. http://www.spybot.com/en/index.html - The ONLY spyware removal tool I use and it’s kept me up and running for all 13 seasons. Protect your privacy and keep the malware from slowing you down!

6. http://www.avg-antivirus.net/default.aspx - If you are still running MacAffee or Norton, in my opinion, you are gonna lose that race. AVG Anti-Virus is at the top of their game with software that does it’s job and doesn’t intrude and try to take over your computer. Easily fine tuned so that it doesn’t auto update or start a scan in the middle of a 50 lapper, I use it on all of my pc’s and laptop and have never had a breakdown due to a virus infection. It has caught and stopped several while not racing and along with Spybot keeps my castle pretty clean. GET RID OF NORTON IT’S EATING UP SYSTEM RESOURCES!

7. http://www.razerzone.com/cortex - I am a HUGE fan of all of the Razer products and their hardware is pretty much second to none for gaming, but their game optimization software is fantastic as well! I've used it since 2013 with both NASCAR Heat and rFactor and it just keeps getting better. Give it a try.
