Extra Distance Features, Christmas in July Toy Drive, and Fireworks Highlight Oswego Speedway Action on July 2
OSWEGO, NY (June 23, 2016) – The summer schedule at Oswego Speedway officially kicks into high gear Saturday, July 2 with the Grand Prix extra distance feature events, the ‘Christmas in July’ celebration and toy drive, along with an exciting post-race fireworks display all presented by the Walker Enterprises D-Bus.

Every fan that brings a new and unwrapped toy to the track next Saturday will receive a FREE hot dog combo meal, with all toys being donated to the Hannibal Central School Christmas Bureau in association with Toys for Tots of Oswego County.
Fans are encouraged to bring the entire family as Santa Claus will once again make an appearance at 6 p.m. on July 2 below the main grandstand in the Oswego Speedway Tiki Bar.
Racing action will take the green flag at 6:30 p.m. on July 2 featuring a 75-lap Novelis Supermodified feature and a 35-lap Pathfinder Bank SBS main.
Ending the evening of racing and fun will again be a gigantic fireworks display to cap the night and put a patriotic finishing touch on the Fourth of July Weekend celebration.
Fans are also reminded that July 2 will be the second Novelis Fan Can Chase Night of the year. Bring your aluminum cans for recycling for a chance to win Oswego Speedway race tickets. Redemptions will take place in front of the track from 4-6 p.m.
Grand Prix Night and Christmas in July will also be a Price Chopper Tickets to Go event with tickets available at any Price Chopper Supermarkets location for only $14. As always kids 16 and under are FREE with a paid adult.
Grandstand gates will open on July 2 with the beginning of hot laps at 4:30 p.m. Santa Claus will be available for the kids at 6 p.m., with the night’s first heat race taking the green at 6:30 p.m.
