Gangwer Elated by Win

“This is fantastic and I’m really very happy to be able to pull this off,” said the driver of the B&G Racing Photos, RW Woodworking number 25. “It’s pretty cool to be able to win the opener and the Summit and to be honest I’m ecstatic to know I was able to hold Rob off at the end.

“Let me tell you though, beating him, (Warren), was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. He just ran me very clean and so did Steve when he was behind me. I think it truly was one of the best races we put on all season and we sure have had some great ones.

“I want to say thank you to my sponsors, WAGs Custom Machine Shop for the awesome Shelby 427 that got the power down tonight, MaG. for being my number one cheerleader, RW Woodworking, my crew Dnett, Shelby, Sheldon, Taylor, Pudge, Smiles, & Nora Nora and of course Icings on Top for sponsoring the Triple Crown races. What a night!”

May Break

The SUPRS racers will take a much-needed break for the month of May so that many of the members can enjoy the start of the real supermodified season, including the Oswego Speedway season opener, Star Speedway and Lee USA Speedway 350 Supermodified openers, the first race of the new Midwest Supermodified Series and the Vukovich Classic at Madera Speedway. Several others plan to make their way to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the 102nd Indianapolis 500 Mile Race.

SUPRS will fire up the 14th season of non-wing online supermodified sim racing the first week of June when they take to an updated version of Oswego Speedway for the fourth year using the SUPRS rFactor and NASCAR Heat modifications.
