April 1, 2009 – Deptford, NJ…Canadian Jamie Hartley wasn’t playing the fool when he slid his way to the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), April Fools Fast 50 win at TM Raceway.
Although there was some fooling since the race was originally scheduled for Martinsville Speedway, and the feature was 63 laps instead of 50, the Canadian performed well, throwing dirt in the eyes of the likes of Gold Crest Champions John Davidson, Ray Sand, Jr. and Myles Maxon.
Hartley then went on to finish fifth in the companion DRT Modified race that followed which was won by Devin Gee.
