February 3, 2023 – Goshen, IN…Five fast nights of fun await the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), competitors at the 2023 edition of SUPRS Florida Speedweeks supermodified sim racing swing and we’ve got the details you need to know about “The Gator Grind.”
Variety Abounds
Variety abounds in the week-long trek through the Sunshine State. With different sized tracks, two sim racing platforms, and different methods to set the feature grid, there’s something for everyone.
SUPRS Florida Speedweeks is contested at five tracks, some real, some fictional. Those tracks range in size from ⅓ mile to ¾ mile and includes: Desoto Super Speedway, Black Creek Raceway, Dodge Raceway Stadium, USA International Speedway, and 5 Flags Speedway.
The swing uses both the NASCAR Heat and rFactor sim racing platforms, and lap lengths vary from 25 to 50.
Each night the Elite 8 qualifiers from Time Trials are eligible for the Feature inversion using methods ranging from full inversions from Time Trials, to a random pill draw, to dice roll, to lining up by Speedweeks points.
Those Speedweeks points add up all week long while drivers aim for the SUPRS Florida Speedweeks crown.
Hot laps get underway each night at 8pm ET with feature racing slated to take the green flag at 8:30. While there will be no official live video stream of this year’s SUPRS Florida Speedweeks, fans can still tune in each night for live scoring and timing along with stats and track telemetry via SUPRS LIVE! at www.SUPRS.net/s
