Joey Callahan Gets Back to Victory Lane After Long Absence
He’s affectionately called Joey “Attaboy” Callahan, but after a perfect performance that netted him his first Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), rFactor win, “Comeback” Callahan may be more correct.
After struggling the entire season to date, Callahan won his heat and lead all 45 laps of the race to win over Rob Warren and Keith Powell. The win was the second career SUPRS Gold Crest win for Callahan and his first in non-wing sim supermodified racing. His first win came over 3 years ago at the Turkey Shoot race.
Heat race wins went to Callahan and Ray Sand, Jr. Full story coming soon.
