Crash Filled Night Can’t Stop Connecticut Resident Dave Ohh

February 20, 2020 – Stafford, CT… Dave Ohh of Union, CT steered clear of all a multitude of spins, wrecks and chaos, to win the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), the New England 50 in his home state at Stafford Motor Speedway. Brad Keysor and Rob Warren drove back through the pack after going to the tail just prior to the half-way point.

Nice to Win at Home

“It’s a nice feeling to win here at home,” said Ohh from Carquest Victory Lane. With 10 cautions and only half of the starting field finishing, the winner, other than having to come back through the pack after a spin on his own on lap 5, couldn’t have worn out his car if he tried. “It was pretty crazy out there tonight, I had a 50 lap car but the way it went with all the cautions, I only needed a 12 lap car.”
