July 14, 2023 – Goshen, IN…There’s some sizzling” supermodified sim racing action on tap at a special Sunday show for the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS). Plus, for the first time in 19 years, SUPRS will sanction a race at a track located in Arkansas. And while it’s just the virtual world, and the track is fictional, Ozark Mountain Speedway is the exciting scene for this historically special event that also marks the first Sunday race since the very early days of the sanction that got it’s start in 2004.
SUPRS Summer Sizzler is the seventh race of the SUPRS 2023 Gold Crest Non-Wing Supermodified Season Championship XIX, and will use the regular summer season format of setting up the heat race line-ups using the “Points Won Handicap” system. Drivers have to race their way into a transfer spot through the heat races to have a shot at the pole position for the 45 lap feature at the banked 1/2 mile paved tri-oval of Ozark Mountain Speedway.
