July 13, 2005 – Jennerstown, PA…After two second place finishes to open the season, AJ “Slideways” Truax was triumphant in the second race of the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series non-wing supermodified season at Jennerstown Speedway. The top five was very similar to last week with the winner of the first Twin 25, John Davidson in second place, Jim Crannell in third again for the third straight race, and the other winner from last week, Sean Gibbs in fourth. Frank Ferry, JR rebounded from last week’s best of sixth in the Twins, to claim fifth.
Heat wins went to Gibbs and Frankie Keene. Gibbs and Truax led laps, with Slidways Truax leading the most.
Buddy Cottom, and Myles Maxon suffered connection issues and couldn’t start the feature.
