Dave “SpeedyMan” Ohh Rescues the Night and Goes on to Win SUPRS Mr. Online Supermodified Wing Feature
July 30, 2019 – Oswego, NY…Dave “SpeedyMan” Ohh rescued the night by quickly setting up a temporary TeamSpeak 3 server at TheModSquad.info headquarters after a system-wide outage on the voice communication’s network, then went on to win the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), wing supermodified feature on Night 1 of the 12th Annual Mr. Online Supermodified competition Tuesday night at Oswego Speedway.
After losing the lead on lap eight, Brad Keysor in the “Little Red Wagon” kept Ohh in sight, and crossed the line in second as “Rocket” Rob Warren had his hands full keep the 1st to Finish Race Servers roadster straight, but managed to finish third.

Good Car, Clean Race
“I had a pretty clean race,” began Ohh. “The car was just really good and it was a good clean race. It was a lot of fun.”
It may have looked like smooth sailing all the way, but Ohh alluded to the fact that there was one very scary moment when he nearly smashed the wall while leading. He said, “There definitely was one moment there where I almost did the same thing as Brad did the last time we raced here. I got real loose of of turn four and it headed for the inside wall, then the outside wall, but I saved it.”
While thanks for much of the success of the night belonged to Ohh, he humbly chose to thank the sanction and it’s sponsors saying, “Thanks to 1st to Finish Race Servers, BreezeGraphics, Icings on Top and SUPRS for all they do, and of course having us Mod Squad and HeatFinder.net guys race with SUPRS.”
Keysor Foiled Again
Second place finishing Brad Keysor looked to be the man to beat entering the feature after winning the heat race, but was once again foiled by his SUPRS foes.
“It was a great race, I just wasn’t able to get a run on Dave,” said the Liverpool, NY sim racer. “I had a good start, but he stalked me down and got by me.”
Keysor had a front row seat for SpeedyMan’s gyrations coming out of turn four and thought he had a chance to capitalize, only to realize there aren’t many kinks in the armor of SpeedyMan. “I was close to Dave and I saw him nearly do the same thing I did here, (at Oswego), and I thought he was going to hand it to me,” said Keysor. “But then, you can’t just steal a win from someone that is as good as he is. He’s a great sim racer and doesn’t make that many mistakes.”
“I want to say thanks to Dave and The Mod Squad for setting up the TeamSpeak server, and to Rob at 1st to Finish Race Servers for jumping through hoops to get the race server right,” Keysor said. “Also SUPRS for getting this show in, as well as Icings on Top and BreezeGraphics.com for all they do.”
Mr. Online Supermodified Crowned on Wednesday
Night 2 of the 12th Annual Mr. Online Supermodified two-day event features non-wing rFactor supermodifieds and after the points are totaled, one SUPRShero will win the 2019 Mr. Online Supermodified Cup presented by 1st to Finish Race Servers.
Practice begins at 8:00pm at Oswego Speedway. The Drivers Meeting takes place at 8:30pm with Time Trials following at 8:45pm. The first 10 lap Heat Race is scheduled to start at 9:05pm with the 50 lap Feature to follow.
