SUPRS Heroes Ready to Battle for Mr. Online Supermodified Title

July 29, 2019 – Goshen, IN…The Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), returns to supermodified sim racing action on July 30-31 to run the spectacular, action-packed, two-day  12th Annual Mr. Online Supermodified event at Oswego Speedway.

Two Nights, Two Cars

The first race of this two-day rFactor sim racing platform special takes place on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 with the drivers in their winged supermodifieds. Then on Wednesday July 31, the action continues on the SUPRS Race Server with non-wing supermodified sim racing.

Each night drivers will time trial, run heats and a 50 lap feature. A running tally of points will be kept for both nights to decide the 12th Annual Mr. Online Supermodified. If a driver hopes to claim the coveted Mr. Online Supermodified Cup sponsored by 1st to Finish Race Servers, he’ll need to be consistent and fast as he uses all of his “super powers” throughout the two-day event.

Top Five Points Battle Continues

In 12 years just five drivers have been called “Mr. Online Supermodified.” This year three-time and defending winner, Rob Warren, brings the SUPRS Gold Crest Championship point lead into the two-day event. As he tries to defend his place at the top of the standings, he’ll have to fend off not only fellow 3-time winner Keith Powell, and 2-time winner Bob Gangwer, but also 18-Time ARL Champion Dave Ohh of Union, CT and 2018-19 Icings on Top Gold Crest Wing Supermodified Rookie of the Year, Brad Keysor.

All of those drivers, except Gangwer, have wins in the non-wing cars, have been battling with Warren, and among themselves in the top five of the championship standings throughout the summer, and fighting hard to topple the champ.
