December 16, 2022 – Goshen, IN…SUPRS annual Christmas Break begins at the close of business on Friday December 16, 2022, and will last until Monday January 2, 2023, as we allow members time to travel and enjoy the most wonderful time of the year with family and friends for Christmas and the New Year.
We feel that disconnecting from the internet, and re-connecting with family and friends in the real world is more important than sim racing, and encourage all of our members, friends, fans, & followers to take this time to disconnect from racing on the web and focus on real life.
We’ll be taking a break from racing, social media, website, and SUPRS Weekly updates beginning 5pm December 16. All SUPRS Servers will be closed during this period for maintenance. Discord will still be available for chat.
Membership Join Form processing and general replies to emails will be put on hold until we are back in the office after the New Year on Monday January 2.
The SUPRS Race Servers will be up and running in time for drivers to prepare for the 19th Annual Crazy Canuck Snowball Derby on January 4,
We wish all of the SUPRS Members, sponsors, friends, fans, & supporters in the sim racing and real supermodified world a blessed Christmas.
Please be safe in your travels and celebrations. We’ll see you all in 2023!
DON’T DRINK & DRIVE!
About SUPRS:
The Supermodified Ultimate Racing Series started in 2004 when supermodified race fans John Davidson and Bob Gangwer started to enjoy online racing with their favorite form of motor-sport, the supermodified division.
The team quickly realized that there were many opportunities available with the online racing platform that would give them a way to give back to the teams, tracks, sponsors and fans of the division. With this thought in mind, and using a suggestion from a member, the league went to a donation to play” format soon after its formation.
By asking members to donate to the newly created Dion Parish Memorial Benevolent Fund for Supermodifieds, SUPRS quickly accumulated funds that allowed the league to donate cash to injured drivers and their families when they needed it the most.
SUPRS has continued to grow using this, until then, unheard of model, and is now in its nineteenth season of sim racing and is one of the longest continuously operating online racing leagues in history.
