June 10, 2014-Oswego, NY…Myles Maxon of Oswego, NY kicked off the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series Gold Crest Non-Wing Supermodfied Season with a win in the Port City 75 Season Opener on Tuesday. The win marked the first time Maxon has visited SUPRS victory lane since August of 2013. SUPRS Opens 10th Non-Wing Supermodified Season at Oswego Speedway

June 10, 2014 – Goshen, IN…After a brief testing season, SUPRS began Non-Wing supermodified racing for the Season Championship in August 2005 at Jennerstown Speedway. A 10 race schedule of feature races that were 40 laps, was released for summer racing and 19 drivers were in attendence for that first event, (The Independance Day Twin 25s). John Davidson and Sean Gibbs picked up the feature victories and Jim Crannell went on to become SUPRS first Non-Wing Supermodified Champion.

SUPRS Port City 75 Opener posterNow it’s time to open up the 2014 Non-Wing Supermodified Championship Season with the running of the Port City 75 Opener tonight at Oswego Speedway.

Practice gets underway at 8:30pm, with the Drivers meeting scheduled for 8:45pm followed by Racing starting at 9:00pm.

Jeff Weber Wheels to SUPRS Port City Opener at Oswego Speedway

Indiana resident Jeff Weber was back in full force after a short lay off and dominated the night winning both his heat race and the 75 lap season opener for SUPRS 9th non-wing supermodified season. Weber led the entire race from his front row starting position and was never challenged.
