March 29, 2005 – Hickory, NC…For all the supermodified drivers who were winless in the 2004-05 Campaign, the SUPRS put on a Cherry Breaker 63 at Hickory Speedway. Sean Gibbs took the big win and is moving through the supermodified ranks quite nicely. The elated Gibbs was happy and tired in victory lane. March 28, 2005 – Clermont, IN…Six Young guns took to Indianapolis Raceway park for the SUPRS Kids race. The kids race was for kids 12 and under. The winner was Joey Payne III. In the companion “Powder Puff” race, Gina Davidson dominated the other  four ladies and won. All in all it was a fun night of SUPRS family night racing with plenty of laughs and good natured joking. 1/31/2005 League Meeting Minutes 1. Discussed Team Speak. League Director Bob Gangwer explained that Team Speak will be a requirement by the Mid Season Championship at Laporte on 2-9. If any league members do not have TS by that date they will not receive points for that race and any race thereafter until they get it. January 26, 2005 – Nelles Corners, Ontario, CAN…John Davidson made it two wins in a row by claiming the Crazy Canuck Snowball Derby at Cayuga Speedway. Davidson beat a field of 14 other drivers in the wild and wacky feature. Davidson, of San Diego, CA also led the most laps of the feature and set the fastest lap of the feature on the 5/8ths mile paved speedway. JP Curry and AJ Truax won heat races…. Keep Reading
