2019 Tracks Remain the Same

The tracks on the SUPRS Florida Speedweeks list for 2019 are the same as 2018. New Smyrna Speedway is the first of the five on Monday night. This is a 50 lap feature using the rFactor racing sim. On Tuesday, the lone NASCAR Heat race of the swing happens at Black Creek Raceway and is 25 laps. This race is part of the SUPRS/HeatFinder.net Supermodified Challenge and open to all that have the game, mod, and track, and have registered to race 24 hours prior the event.

On Wednesday the racers face one of the toughest nights during the week at the 1/3 mile Dodge Raceway Stadium. They’ll be fighting for traction and racing room throughout the 50 lap show inside a football stadium where Nelson Rodrigues is a two-time defending winner.

The fourth night of Speedweeks takes place where the racers will welcome the extra racing room. The big, fast, high-banked 3/4 mile of USA International Speedway is the scene for a 25 lap feature.

Finally on Friday, February 8, SUPRS Florida Speedweeks comes to a close and a champion will wear the crown after a 50 lap show at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola

Warren, Powell Take Battle to Airborne

Rob Warren and Keith Powell have waged a season long points battle that hasn’t been seen at SUPRS since the days of Ray Sand, Jr. and Myles Maxon going at. The two are tied coming to Airborne for the big double points show and either one could make or break his championship hopes at the unique race track.

Both had good runs at Airborne the only other time SUPRS raced there. But after they made contact on the white flag lap coming out of turn two which saw Powell take the slide of his life through the infield and onto the backstretch. Warren went on to win that race in a finish that was nearly too close to call.
