Third Straight Win for Dave Ohh Comes at SUPRS St. Patrick’s Day Grab O’ the Green
March 17, 2020 – Oregon, WI…Union, CT resident Dave Ohh now has three Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), wins in a row after dominating the night with a track record, dash win, heat race win, fastest lap of the feature and leading all but three laps on his way to winning the St. Patrick’s Day Grab O’ the Green victory at Madison International Speedway on Tuesday.
Brad Keysor was the only other car on the lead lap in second, and Nelson Rodrigues finished third to snag his first podium finish in since the Mid-Season Championship over 20 races ago.
One Heckuva Race
“That was one heckuva race,” said Ohh. “I knew I had a good car, and this was one of those races where I got to start up front so that was nice.”
Ohh quickly took advantage of starting in fourth place by passing pole sitter Zach Sears who led lap one but was passed by third place starting Brad Keysor. Keysor then led the next two laps, but his luck didn’t last long, as Ohh blew by the Southern Hills Storm Football sponsored driver down the front stretch on lap four. By the end of lap five, “SpeedyMan” had taken his TMS WolfPack #11 out to nearly a two second lead and it was obvious he was off to a different time zone.
Ohh has now joined Steve Callahan as the only two-time winner of this popular supermodified sim race and has catapulted himself into seventh place overall in the SUPRS Gold Crest Wing Supermodified Championship XVI point standings.
New Track Record Sets Tone
Ohh started the night by establishing a track record by stopping the timing clock with a 12.439 second lap. He then won the Fast Car Dash and the 10 lap Heat Race to set the stage for the 50 lap feature.

SpeedyMan Goes for Four in a Row
The SUPRS “Western Swing” really gets rolling next week at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, MO where Ohh will attempt to go for his fourth win in a row on Tuesday March 24. In pre-race testing he’s struggled some and said, “It’s a pretty quick track, but I need to do some work setting the car up. Setting these cars up is a little different and I’m still learning.”
2020 is the third year now that SUPRS has visited the high-banked 1/2 mile and in the first two editions of the Show Me State 50, Nelson Rodrigues and Keith Powell won. Each race had just one caution in 50 laps.
