Rob Warren Takes Keystone Nationals Win at RT 93 Raceway
April 2, 2019 – Slusser, PA…The first night of the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), 14th Annual Keystone Nationals is complete and Rob Warren was the 50 lap NASCAR Heat supermodified feature winner at RT 93 Raceway. Keith Powell crossed the line in second and Bob Gangwer finished third.
Found the Rhythm
Although with this win Rob Warren is now tied with Keith Powell for the most this season at ten, his season has been an up and down one with his main focus on the points championship. The last few weeks especially, he’s failed to find that familiar rhythm that has propelled him to five SUPRS championships.
This week though, the Pulaski, NY driver was back in form at a track where he has won at several times before. “It feels good,” Warren said. “I had kind of a chant going on in my head because I had a different throttle position for every corner. I was chanting, “turn one, turn two, turn three,” but at one point I got lost.”
Good Night Needs to Be Better
“Every time I have a good run, Keith has a good run too,” said Warren as he eluded to his never ending quest to get in front of Keith Powell and stay there in the points chase. “When I have a bad night, I finish off the podium, when Keith has a bad night, he’s still standing there.”
He was quick to give credit to others though after his win at “The Square Circle” saying, “Thanks to Breeze Graphics for all their hard work, SUPRS for putting on the show, and Icings on Top for all the great awards they do.” Watch the feature from Night 1 of SUPRS 14th Annual Keystone Nationals at RT 93 Raceway.
Keystone Nationals Continues Wednesday
The supermodified sim racers continue their trek through PA, on Wednesday April 3, for night two of the SUPRS 14th Annual Keystone Nationals at Nazareth Speedway. The drivers will run two heat races and a 25 lap feature on tricky and technical one-mile track that, at one time, hosted the IndyCar series.

All three nights of the 14th Annual Keystone Nationals are going to be shown via SUPRS LIVE! Race Night Schedule
Practice begins at 8:00pm all three nights. Time Trials are at 8:15pm, then two Heat Races, and the Feature follow at 9:05pm.
