SUPRS Racers Invade The Bullring for 2021 Jeff Russell Special

April 6, 2021 – Carson City, NV…The Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), racers invade The Bullring for the Jeff Russell Special tonight April 6, 2021 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This supermodified sim race will help raise awareness about it’s namesake, who continues to recover from injuries suffered in a 2010 supermodified crash at this track.

SUPRS racers invade The Bullring to help raise money for injured driver at The Jeff Russell Special.

Help SUPRS Help Jeff

It is the goal of SUPRS to help people remember that Russell, a native of Boise, ID, continues to heal from injuries incurred during the last practice session for the Supermodified Racing Association, (SMRA), ”Night of Fire” event at The Bullring in Las Vegas, NV on October 30, 2010.

Jeff continues to heal from Traumatic Brain Injury as well as other injuries, and since the accident, has endured multiple surgeries at great expense. Jeff’s medical bills have been hard on his family, but you can help. During the race and from April 5 to April 12, 2020, all donations to the Dion Parish Memorial Benevolent Fund for Supermodifieds will benefit the Jeff Russell Road to Recovery Fund.

Click “Donate” in the main navigation of SUPRS.net or the button below and when you make a donation of any amount, SUPRS will forward that donation to help aid in Jeff’s continued healing and recovery.

Ohh, Keysor Show Expected to Continue

Brad Keysor and Dave Ohh have dominated the SUPRS Gold Crest Wing Supermodified Championship season so far, having won all but four of the 37 races completed so far. With Ohh as the two-time and defending Jeff Russell special winner, and Keysor having won half of the last six races, it’s expected that the Ohh Keysor show will continue at The Bullring.

However the tight confines, amount of laps, lapped traffic, and abrasive surface of The Bullring, could all be the wild cards that keep these dueling desperadoes from sipping champagne from Victory Lane. Adding to those unknowns are the fact that high rollers like Keith Powell and Rob Warren, (whom himself is a former winner at The Bullring), are in a no holds barred battle with rookie Ryan Cloonan to be the best of the rest as they charge to the end of the championship points season, and will certainly show their hand by the end of the 85 lap main event.
