March 6, 2024 – Jennerstown, PA…After sustaining damage to the nose of his TMS Wolfpack #11 at the start of the race, and facing an unruly snarl of lapped cars, Union, Connecticut’s Dave Ohh was still plenty fast and pulled down the win in the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), 20th Annual Randy Witkum Memorial for the third time in his career. Ohh took the lead on the thirtieth lap when the defending race winner, Bob Gangwer, was mired behind a lapped car. Ohh went on to win by eight seconds in this 125 race that honors the memory of the late Randy Witkum who lost his life at Jennerstown in 1999.
Gangwer finished second, while 2-Time Randy Witkum Memorial winner, Gary Waldron, finished third for the second year in a row. Waldron led the first 19 laps of the race.
Ohh’s win was enough to propel him past Brad Keysor and Zach Sears to claim his fourth Keystone Nationals Championship and the 20 bonus points that go along with it. Ohh is now tied with Myles Maxon, Rob Warren, and Bob Gangwer for the most career SUPRS Keystone Nationals Championships.
