The Silver Crest Division was started started in June of 2007 when we decided to seperate into 2 divisions with the rookies and new members being placed in the Silver Crest Division, and long-standing members racing in the Gold Crest Division as the 3rd Non-wing season gets underway. Prior to that we crowned a “Rookie of the Year” in 2006-07 which Patrick Sommers won.
These schedules will show that many of the Gold Crest dates were part of the Silver Crest season. We did this because of our “Pro-Am” events where the Silver Crest members were invited to race a Gold Crest event. Most of them were Memorial shows like the Dion Parish and Randy Witkum Memorials.
Even so, the Silver Crest schedule generally started October of one calendar year and carried over to the end of April or first week of May the next year for the wing season and went from June to the first week of August for non-wing.
