On-Track Action Starts Sunday May 5

The drivers start their climb to the 15th Annual Summit Classic 125 Victory Lane with a full 125 lap race night simulation. SUPRS Sunday Night Test-N-Tune takes on an added air of importance as it gives the competitors a chance to see how their wing supermodifieds will fare on race night. Drivers take to the track at 8pm.

Race for the Pole on Monday

The search for speed continues on Monday, May 6, with Summit Classic Time Trials. Drivers will not only try to put their supermodified on the pole position, they’ll do their best to park it on the front row, because only the two fastest drivers are locked into the race. If they don’t make the front-row, they’ll be headed for the qualifying Heat Races and B-Main on the same night.

Practice on Monday starts at 8:00pm. The drivers take to the track at 9:05pm for single car time-trials and the run for the Summit Classic 125 pole. The qualifying heat races will follow at approximately 9:15pm.

Reaching the Summit on Tuesday

On Tuesday May 7, the grand finale’ for the 46 race, 2018-19 wing supermodified season takes place. The SUPRS racers will attempt to add their name to the elite list of just six different drivers that have won the SUPRS Summit Classic 125.  Practice begins at 7:45pm with the green flag dropping on the 15th Annual Summit Classic 125 starting field at 9:15pm.

About KTimmins77

Supermodified fan for over 30 years. Heard about this MOD and had to give it try! Been doing graphic art and design for along time. Owner of Breezegraphics Supermodified Art. Specializing in Vinyl Stickers and Window Clings. So designing my own paint scheme is right up my alley. :) Looking to enjoy some SUPRS racing and meet some new friends. Picked #77 in honor of "The King of Supermodifieds" Bentley Warren. I'll never forget that ragged old car (former swift 10pins) he used to muscle around The Steel Palace in the 70's.
